Co-ed guide

Available below is a template Excel file required for the CoEd Guide script.

The Co-ed guide provides information for our co-ed partners on the software and fonts used for the Jacket and insides of DK books.

To create the Co-ed guide, please follow these instructions:

1. Download the Excel template available above. 
2. Fill in that template with the information relating to the current book. (Make sure you are using Excel and no other software).
3. In the Fuse menu, select CoEd Guide.
4. In the dialog box, you will usually need to click on Combine two SourceReports (except for the rare occasions when you would need to do a Single SourceReport). 
5. As prompted, select the JACKET SourceReport first and then the INSIDE PAGES SourceReport (the Font reports should also be present in their respective folders).

Save the .xml file produced by the CoEd Guide tool as a PDF (Command P > Saved as PDF). If you have worked on a translation of a book, you may need to change the US word count to the translated language prefix within the PDF. (i.e. change US to ES for Spanish etc.)
